FAITH LIKE A CHILD

There is something beautiful about the faith of a child. Before life becomes complicated, before we learn to overanalyze every decision, children often trust with a simplicity that many adults lose along the way. This Sunday, we will reflect on Jesus’ surprising words in Matthew 18, where he places a child in the center of his disciples and teaches that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who become like little children.

As we celebrate a baptism and consider what it means to follow Jesus, we will explore three marks of a childlike faith: trusting God even when we do not have all the answers, humbly depending on him rather than ourselves, and remaining teachable as we continue to grow in Christ. Childlike faith is not childish faith. It is a mature faith that has learned to rest in the Father's love and guidance.

Join us this Sunday, June 28, at 10:15 am as we learn what it means to live with the simple confidence that we are deeply loved by our Heavenly Father.
