Marriage Matters: The Secret of Marriage
Our culture wants you to believe that every single person has a perfect soul mate out there somewhere. We’re told that sex and romance are the most important ingredients to a successful marriage. You’ll hear that your spouse is supposed to meet your needs and help you realize your full potential, that it’s smart to live with somebody for a while before you marry, and that most marriages end in divorce anyway.
The problem is that all those modern-day assumptions are flat wrong.
This Sunday at GCR, we begin our Marriage Matters series. We’re going to start by deconstructing some of the common myths about marriage and then looking together at what Scripture claims is the true secret. The teaching will be practical, helpful, and brutally realistic. Invite your friends and plan to be here for all six Sundays.
