REFRESHED

There’s nothing quite like a cool breeze on a scorching summer day. It brings relief, renewal, and the strength to keep going.

This Sunday, we’ll explore the story of a little-known but remarkable man in Scripture named Onesiphorus. In 2 Timothy 1:15-18, Paul is sitting in a Roman prison, abandoned by many and awaiting execution. In one of the darkest seasons of his life, Onesiphorus did something extraordinary: he sought Paul out and refreshed his spirit.

Though his story is brief, its impact is profound. The ministry of Onesiphorus reflects the very heart of the Gospel. God is a God who seeks us when we are lost, finds us when we feel forgotten, and refreshes us with His grace when we are weary.

What would it look like for us to do the same? How can we become a refreshing presence in others' lives, bringing hope, encouragement, and relief to those carrying heavy burdens?

Join us this Sunday, June 14, at 10:15 am as we discover how one seemingly ordinary believer demonstrates an extraordinary aspect of God's character and challenges us to live out the heart of our vision at GCR.
