Where All Become One
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” ~Galatians 3:28.
The apostle Paul condemned Peter because he refused to eat with Gentile Christians. He didn’t take exception because Peter’s behavior was rude. He didn’t rebuke Peter publicly because Peter’s actions were too closely aligned with the day’s accepted norms. He confronted Peter because Peter’s behavior denied the truth of the Gospel.
Please read Galatians 3:26-29 this week. Then join us at 10:15 this Sunday July 6 as we explore together the cultural, social, and sexual implications of the Gospel of Christ. This is the very heart of the letter to the Galatians: that all the barriers are eliminated and we are all one in Christ Jesus!
