Allan Stanglin

Allan and his family began their work with us in July 2021 after serving at Central Church of Christ in Amarillo and Legacy Church of Christ in North Richland Hills. Before congregational ministry, he worked in sports radio for 16 years, ultimately gaining the Sports Director’s position at KRLD in Dallas.

Allan and his wife Carrie-Anne have been married for 33 years. They have three daughters, Whitney, Valerie and her husband David, and Carley and her husband Collin.

Allan is a graduate of Dallas Christian High School and Oklahoma Christian University and holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Austin Graduate School of Theology. He enjoys reading Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Eugene Peterson, Tim Keller, and anything by Skip Hollandsworth. He is passionate about Texas history, Dr Pepper, and the Lord’s Supper. His preaching and writing emphasize the grace and mercy of God for all men and women, the great blessings of Christian community, and the on-going sanctification of the saints. It should also be noted that Allan suffers a complicated love/hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys.
