Immeasurably More
When the apostle Paul considers the power of our God and the love of Christ, he drops to his knees. Knowing what our Father has done to defeat the rulers and authorities opposed to our salvation, knowing the love of our Lord Jesus that paves the way for our forgiveness and restoration, compels Paul to fall to his knees in prayer. And what a prayer it is!
Please read the prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21. Then join us at 10:15 this Sunday morning March 30 as we consider more of our God’s love and power than we could ever ask or imagine.
Paul stacks the adjectives right on top of each other in this prayer, he piles up the descriptive words and hyperbole, trying to inspire us to see it and feel it with him. How amazing that God’s love and power belong to us in such lavish abundance that even the inspired writers have a hard time describing it! What a joy to look at it together this Sunday at GCR!
