Byron & Karla Fender
Byron was born in Mississippi, but he moved to Midland in 1966 and never looked back. He and his wife of 32 years, Karla, have four children: a daughter and a set of triplet boys! Byron has been volunteering and teaching with our children’s ministry for over twelve years, passionately laying the foundation for our kids that God created them, God knows them, and God loves them. He was ordained as a GCR elder in 2019 and is committed to local and global missions and sharing the Gospel in creative ways.
