Clay & Barbie Wooten
Clay and Barbie have been married for 39 years, they have five children and 14-grandchildren, and at least another one or two grandkids on the way. They have worshiped and served the Lord at GCR since 1988. Clay has been one of our shepherds for almost ten years, helping lead the long-running Thursday morning Bible study, volunteering with the young men at Teen Challenge, and orchestrating 32 years of home repair works through Christmas in Action. Clay’s heart is especially sensitive to the marginalized and the hurting, and he longs for their rest and hope to be found in Christ through GCR.
